Standard Specs
- Advertiser supplies the ad, or Naylor can create the ad unless otherwise noted for certain ad positions below.
- To ensure display ads are optimized for all mobile devices, production requires an artwork creation charge of $125 if Naylor is to create.
- Creative accepted: JPG, GIF, or 3rd Party Tags
- We accept third party tags through the following means:
- For websites serving through Google Ad Manager, please reference the allowed vendors list for all available 3rd party ad tag vendors.
- Must have complete image path name and complete URL destination (double-check URLs for accuracy).
- HTML5 tags
- Images and any Javascript supplemental files must be served from the advertiser/agency’s server. All files should be supplied with the HTML5 file.
- Due to existing website code, testing will be necessary to ensure the HTML5 option will successfully populate.
- Please note: While we can accommodate the use of 3rd party tags on website display advertising campaigns running through our ad server for the purpose of impression and click tracking visibility, we base all ad campaign performance (including impressions and clicks) by what is reported in our ad server, Google Ad Manager. Google Ad Manager proactively filters invalid traffic from its reporting. We cannot abide by individual traffic requirements set by 3rd party tag providers for any served ad campaigns, and will not monitor campaign performance by external platforms outside of our ad server.
- Movie files are NOT accepted for banner advertising. No .MP4, .AVI, .MOV, etc. (See exclusions applying to premier listings below.)
- Max file size 100KB file size
- File must be created/saved in RGB color mode. (Most digital graphics and photos are already in RGB mode; check this by viewing the file properties.)
- File must be a minimum 72 dpi.
- Animation must be no longer than 25 seconds. This includes multiple loops.
- Animation should stop on the last frame OR a stop action will be applied. No continuous loops.
- Font size should be a minimum of 10 pts for legibility purposes depending on the font family.
- Advertiser supplies URL ad should link to. Email addresses cannot be used as a URL/Web link.
Due to changes in online advertising standards, we no longer accept Flash-based (.SWF) ads.

Content Marketing Opportunities
The MarketBASE product introduces content marketing opportunities where advertisers can engage with users through more tailored messaging than display ads. This can come in the form of native advertising which is geared toward shorter, sales oriented promotions of products & services, or sponsored content, which is geared toward fully published thought leadership content. All types on content marketing will display within the newly created blog section of MarketBASE, organized into three available content level options.
Content Level 1: Native Ad
- Available Native Ad content types:
- Company Spotlight
- Product Showcase
- Meeting Showcase
- Press Release
- Specifications for each Native Ad type:
- Headline: Up to 10 words
- Summary: Up to 50-70 words
- Thumbnail Image (180 x 150 pixels)
- Call to action link (external URL)
- Display:
Content appears in the blog feed for 12 months, and links out to an external URL.
- Guidelines:
Content should be a quick summary blurb, geared to a product or service offering from the advertiser and relevant to the industry of the online buyers’ guide. Content is promotional in its messaging and displayed as true text for increased SEO.
Content Level 2: Advertorial
- Available Advertorial content types:
- White Paper
- Video Showcase
- eBook
- Case Study
- Specifications for each advertorial type:
- Headline: Up to 12 words
- Summary: Up to 500 words
- Featured Image (larger than 500 pixels wide, will scale down)
- For Video Showcase, this will instead be a YouTube link to allow the video player to be embedded on the page.
- Call to action/download link
- Display:
- Content appears in the blog feed for 12 months, and links to an internal landing page to see the full article and call to action link.
- Content can link to your company’s premier listing for cross promotion on the MarketBASE site.
- Guidelines:
Content should be geared to a product or service offering from the advertiser, relevant to the industry of the online buyers’ guide. More content is permitted with the Advertorial option, allowing for a deeper dive into an advertiser’s messaging. Content is promotional displayed as true text for increased SEO.
Content Level 3: Sponsored Content
- Available sponsored content types:
All content level 3 options will be labeled as “Sponsored Content” onsite, but can include any type of thought leadership content.
- Specs:
- Headline: Up to 15 words
- Summary: Up to 2,000 words
- Featured Image (larger than 500 pixels wide, will scale down)
- Up to 3 additional images (larger than 500 pixels wide) can be included in body of article.
- Call to action links (can include multiple within body of article)
- Display:
- This option appears in the blog feed for 12 months, and has guaranteed placement in the “Featured Content” widget onsite for the 1st month purchased.
- The Advertorial also links to an internal landing page to see the full article and call to action links, and can link to your company’s premier listing for cross promotion on the MarketBASE site.
- Guidelines:
- Content should be geared toward a relevant industry topic within the buying and selling exchange. Content should identify an issue and/or solution that would benefit buyers and suppliers in the industry.
- Content should be independent of the particular advertiser, and overall message should not be directly promotional in nature.
- The Association reserves the right to review and edit any sponsored content as it deems necessary to meet the above requirements prior to publishing.
Career Center Targeted Marketing and Advertising
Targeted marketing and advertising is a dynamic way to not only capture job seekers but also allows you to re-capture — or retarget— people who visit your career center after they leave your site and are surfing the web. Through targeted job enhancements, you can entice these job seekers back to your employer’s listings by showing them display ads that remind them about the exciting opportunities they saw on your career portal.
Premier Listings
Premier listings are designed to offer heightened visibility for your company within an Online MarketBASE site. They contain all basic listing contact information, along with a company logo, extended description, additional product/service categories, photos and videos. Please see below for detailed premier listing specifications.
Premier Listing Feature Specifications:
- Company name
- Company logo (240 x 120 pixels)
- Must be a .JPG file, maximum of 100KB file size
- 72 dpi or higher
- Contact your sales representative for logo creation services if needed.
- Company header image (1036 x 240 pixels)
- Must be a .JPG or .GIF file, maximum of 100KB file size
- 72 dpi or higher
- Information brochure upload
- Must be PDF format, maximum of 1MB file size
- Full mailing address
- Phone number
- General website URL
- General contact email address
- Active Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram account links
- Additional company contacts and information (up to 5)

- Additional categories may be purchased for $50 each. Contact your sales representative for project-specific details.
- Company description (6,000 characters)
- Should be supplied in .TXT file or Word document. No text styling outside of bold, italics or underline. No hyperlinks.
- Product/service photo (240 x 240 pixels)
- Must be a .JPG or .GIF file, maximum 100KB
- Include a product/service description (up to 500 characters) and product-specific URL.
- 3rd party tags not accepted. URL click trackers are permitted.
- Extended Description (unlimited character count)
- Should be used for additional information outside of company description
Premier Listing Upgrade Options:
- Video upgrade
- Available for an additional cost. Please check with your sales representative for details.
- YouTube & Vimeo embed URLs accepted.
- Videos can be up to 5 minutes long (max file size of 50MB).
- Creative Accepted: .MP4, .MOV, and .AVI.
- Movie duration: Up to 5 minutes in length.
- Max file size 50MB
- Customer-supplied video URL Links are accepted and can be streamed through Naylor’s video player. There is no limit to file size or video length if client supplies the embed code for a video housed on YouTube.
- To find the embed code: On your YouTube video, click on “Share” then click on “Embed.” Copy the YouTube-branded URL from “www” to the video file name.
- Cross promotion with content marketing opportunities
- Ask your sales rep about the ability to link your company’s premier listing to active content marketing options (Content Levels 2 and 3).
