McLEAN, Va. — Associations that use Intuit’s QuickBooks software to manage their finances can now import transaction data from their association management software in seconds through a new feature in the Naylor Marketplace. This QuickBooks app supports both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
“Accurate financial accounting and reporting is an essential part of good association management. Our clients have told us they wanted a tool that would help them more efficiently merge their accounts, commonly tracked through QuickBooks, with income records stored in their AMS database. This integration helps our clients’ databases and financial software talk to each other to ensure the seamless flow of information between these systems,” said Tom Aley, group vice president for Naylor’s SaaS group.
Associations can export their AMS income to QuickBooks with just a couple clicks. The QuickBooks integration features an intuitive export functionality from within the Naylor AMS platform that transfers batch accounting transactions from the AMS to a QuickBooks account by generating a QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online file that can be imported directly into QuickBooks.
The app validates all data on screen before any file is generated, giving users extra reassurance that the data transfer will be secure and will not corrupt data.
These automated processes eliminate the typical errors that can occur with manual data exports.
All QuickBooks Desktop exports include a unique Batch ID number in the memo field for a quick way to tie transactions back to the import they originated from. This feature is useful for associations needing to validate, store or audit an entry within their QuickBooks account.
