McLEAN, Va. – Naylor Association Solutions is pleased to announce that three of its associations have won accolades for their print publications in the 40th annual SIIA/Association Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards. The American Bankers Association (ABA), the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) were honored in an online announcement and celebration on July 14, 2020.

“Our member communications team works diligently year-round to write, design, lay out and produce innovative content that members of all industries and career stages find valuable,” said Sarah Sain, Naylor’s director of content, member communications. “It’s a pleasure to pause for a moment and be recognized by our publishing peers for the quality of our work for these three associations.”

ABA won a gold award in the Magazines: Redesign (20,001-50,000 circulation) for the redesign of its ABA Banking Journal Magazine. NRPA earned a silver award in the Promotional Content: Directory, Buyers Guide or Catalog (Print) category for the design and content of its 2019-20 NRPA: Parks & Recreation Field Guide. CSLA netted a Magazines: General Excellence bronze award (10,000 or fewer circulation) for its member magazine, Landscapes/Paysages.

“This is our eighth EXCEL Award for Landscapes/Paysages Magazine and that recognition is important on several levels. It recognizes the excellent contribution of our publisher, Naylor Association Solutions and our in-house editorial board, motivates our team to innovate the magazine’s content and design, and validates to our members that their CSLA members dues are supporting an award-winning publication,” said Michelle Legault, CSLA Executive Director.

“Our annual Field Guide is a valuable resource for our members, and we would not be able to produce such a comprehensive, well-designed directory without the help of our team at Naylor,” said Gina Mullins-Cohen, chief marketing officer for NRPA.

“In 2019, Naylor’s team delivered a sophisticated, reader-friendly magazine redesign that put the spotlight on America’s banks and their stories,” said Evan Sparks, senior vice president for member communications at the American Bankers Association and editor-in-chief of the ABA Banking Journal. “The ABA Banking Journal’s gold EXCEL award demonstrates the value that Naylor helps us bring to our members every day.”
