Fresh out of college back in the day, Alex DeBarr spent a year as an editor before finding his calling in ad sales. For 22 years, he worked in various revenue-building and leadership capacities at Advanstar Communications as an executive vice president and then left to join Naylor Association Solutions as the first non-Naylor CEO in company history.
