McLEAN, Va. — Recently, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) held its 16th annual MarCom awards, recognizing excellence in marketing and communications. With the results comes Naylor Association Solutions excitement for the opportunity to honor some of its own clients who won various awards in the association media print category, including: the American Banking Association (ABA), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), the Association of Professional Rental Organizations (APRO), the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association (TXAPA), and the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA).

“In a testament to the hard work of everyone involved in making these magazines quality publications, our clients have deservedly received several MarCom awards,” stated David Bornmann, chief marketing officer for Naylor Association Solutions. “These awards are affirmation that these associations will continue to successfully influence their industries.”

ABA won a platinum award for their monthly member magazine, ABA Banking Journal. ABA, which holds economic growth and job creation in high priority, is known for providing a voice to banks all over the U.S. AMCP bestows the platinum award upon entries that receive the highest merit-based points from the judges, who are senior-level professionals. Those who receive this award deserve recognition for producing dynamic communications within their industries.

Both AAHOA and APRO obtained a gold award for the hard work, creativity and professionalism displayed in their magazines. Gold awards are also allocated based on judges’ scores. AAHOA’s monthly Today’s Hotelier addresses critical hospitality issues and industry trends, and provides business guidance for hotel owners. APRO’s RTOHQ Magazine is a bi-monthly publication also showcasing trends and news, with the added merit in rental dealer profiles.

TXAPA and NAPA won honorable mentions for their magazines: the quarterly Texas Asphalt Pavement and the bi-monthly Asphalt Pavement, respectively. TXAPA’s magazine dedicates itself to informing industry professionals about environmental issues, safety, new technology and more. Likewise, NAPA’s magazine provides the paving and asphalt production industry with updates about asphalt pavement technology and innovations via features, editorials and reviews.

Naylor is proud that its association partnerships result in the receipt of prestigious honors such as the MarCom awards. MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization, founded in 1995, consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital and web professionals. The MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals. Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest, most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year about 6,000 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries.

“We would like to thank our clients for being some of the best in the industry, and look forward to what 2020 will bring,” Bornmann said.
