In 2009, AACS launched a newly designed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautyschools.org\">website<\/a>. The site makes it easy for visitors to find schools in their area and leverages one of the most important trends in marketing\u2014 a branded digital video.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Nielsen &#8220;Three Screen Report,&#8221; online video consumption is on the rise, with Internet users watching 53 more minutes of video online than they did at this time a year ago\u2014a 34.9 percent increase!<\/p>\n<p>The AACS &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d6vV0VFY6FA\">Your Beautiful Career<\/a>&#8221; video, uploaded to YouTube, generated more than 5,000 views. Additional consumer-oriented videos are planned for 2010. AACS also uses video as a means of keeping members up to date, with monthly video &#8220;President Updates&#8221; distributed digitally. Finally, AACS will continue to offer affordable, high-quality videos that schools may purchase for use on their Web sites and in social media outreach. The recent &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=geOU6oIwjLw\">Beauty Changes Lives<\/a>&#8221; video provided a way for schools to share the excitement of the live event on their websites.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;border-collapse: collapse\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;font-size: 9pt;background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #dcdcdc;text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-weight: bold;font-style: italic\">Rate this article 5 (Excellent) to 1 (Poor).
