Naylor and Boxwood Announce Partnership With 10 AGC Texas Chapters

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Naylor Association Solutions and Boxwood are pleased to announce a recent partnership with 10 Associated General Contractor Chapters in Texas to provide advertising services and a job board for their newest website, TexasConstructionCareers.com.

TexasConstructionCareers.com was created in response to the growing shortage of skilled construction labor in the workforce. According to a recent industry survey, 79 percent of Texas firms were having a difficult time filling craft work positions and 56 percent were having trouble filling professional construction positions.

On Friday, September 6th, the new statewide site launched and now offers robust, accurate and up-to-date information regarding careers in commercial construction. It is aimed at students, schools, human resource professionals and veterans looking for new career opportunities and includes job training, education opportunities, job-placement services and listings of all the locations where craft training is being provided in the state.

Doug McMurry, Executive Vice President for the San Antonio Chapter of AGC comments: “We’re providing a single place for anyone interested in trade careers to go, which we didn’t have before. We really want to promote these jobs to young people and vets coming home looking for a fresh start.”

”Naylor is excited to partner with the Texas AGC chapters in their ongoing efforts to solve the skilled construction labor shortage Texas (and much of the nation) is currently facing. This is the first time a website like this has existed in Texas and we’re proud to provide the advertising and job board to various construction companies hiring and those interested in a career or career advancement in construction,” said Heather Greyling, Group Publisher for Naylor.
